Seasonal Ingredient of the Week: Aubergine
As far as versatile ingredients go, aubergine probably takes the top spot. Soaking up flavour like a sponge, it works a treat in everything from curries and Asian food to BBQ and even chocolate cake (don't knock it 'til you've tried it).
