Seasonal Ingredient of the Week: Sweet Potato

It’s pretty unanimous across the team that sweet potato is in our ‘top 3 ingredients of all time’. It works just as well in sweet as it does in savoury, makes any salad amazing in any season and merges well with so many different types of food, from Mexican burrito bowls to a classic Sunday roast. It can be roasted until soft and caramelised, grilled and spread with almond butter for a quick snack, cooked in curries or stews or mashed and added to cakes, muffins and porridge - in fact, we struggle to think of anywhere that it doesn’t excel.
