  • We are a healthy food brand creating nutrient-rich meals designed to help you eat well and feel good.

    We make veg-led food rooted in flavour, fibre, plant diversity and minimal processed ingredients - from salads and wraps to ready meals and snacks.

  • Pollen + Grace was founded in 2015 by Steph and Kristina, who started the business from their home kitchen with a delivery bike and a mission to make healthy food more exciting.

    Frustrated by the lack of lunch options that balanced both flavour and nutrition, they set out to create meals that combined chef-led recipes with nutrient-rich ingredients.

    With over 10 years of chef experience, Steph led recipe development, creating the flavour-first approach that still defines Pollen + Grace today.

    Since then, Pollen + Grace has grown from local deliveries to supermarket shelves across the UK, gaining the support of doctors, nutritionists and chefs along the way.

  • Our salads, wraps and ready meals are available in supermarkets across the UK. You can find us in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Co-op and Waitrose. You can also order via Ocado and Amazon. Our salads are also available on board various trains and planes including Eurostar.

  • Yes! Our mission is to make healthy food more accessible so we’re thrilled to be part of the premium meal deal across Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Co-op.

WHERE CAN I FIND POLLEN + GRACE?

BEYOND PLANT-BASED

  • In May 2026 we introduced a range of chicken salads, expanding beyond exclusively plant-based products to offer a range covering meat, vegetarian and plant-based options.

    We will always have plant-based meals within our range and our much-loved plant-based salads aren’t going anywhere! We’re simply introducing additional options that include chicken and dairy to better reflect how many of our customers eat today.

  • We spent a lot of time over the past 18 months getting to know what our shoppers wanted from us - their needs, their health goals and how we can help. Whilst there’s a lot of love for our plant-based range, the same message came up again and again - the same nutrient-rich approach but with the inclusion of meat or dairy is missing from the market.

    We’ve worked tirelessly on our chicken salads for months now, making sure we can deliver a high protein lunch option that still meets our nutrient-rich brand standards, delivering not only on protein but also fibre and plant diversity with minimal processed ingredients.

    This marks a huge shift for us, but one we’re truly excited about as it brings us closer to our mission of making nourishing food work for more people, more often. We hope that through introducing this range we can help more people enjoy a healthier option.

  • Don’t worry - our plant-based range isn’t going anywhere! We will continue to always offer plant-based options alongside meat and vegetarian meals to make sure healthy on-the-go options are inclusive to everyone.

  • Yes, our meals are designed to be a healthy option. Our recipes are designed around nutrient density, fibre, plant diversity and ingredient quality.

    Rather than chasing a single trend or nutrition claim, we aim to create balanced meals that support everyday wellbeing and leave you feeling good after eating them.

  • We prioritise real, recognisable ingredients and minimise the use of heavily processed ingredients wherever possible.

    We focus on wholefoods, vegetables, grains, legumes, herbs, spices and naturally nutrient-rich ingredients to build flavour and nutrition into our meals.

    We prioritise ingredients that stay as close to their natural form as possible wherever we can.

    That doesn’t mean every ingredient is perfect e.g. our wrap bread would be considered ultra-processed, but we ensure these ingredients are only used when no alternative exists.

  • Nutrient-rich describes foods that deliver a high concentration of beneficial nutrients, and ideally those nutrients come from whole ingredients, not additives. It’s about quality of nutrients per bite, not just calories or volume.

    A nutrient-rich meal provides multiple beneficial nutrients, typically including:

    • Protein

    • Fibre

    • Complex carbohydrates

    • Healthy fats

    • Vitamins + minerals

    • Phytonutrients/antioxidants

  • Plant varieties refers to the different types of plants included within a meal - such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains, herbs, nuts and seeds.

    For example, spinach, chickpeas, pumpkin seeds and quinoa would each count as different plant varieties.

    We focus on including a wide diversity of plants across our meals because different plants contain different nutrients and fibres that can support overall health.

    It also makes food taste far more interesting - bringing more colour, texture and flavour into every meal.

  • Every Pollen + Grace meal contains multiple plant varieties, with many including 10+ different plants from vegetables, grains, pulses, herbs, nuts and seeds. Across our range, total plant varieties varies from 8 to 15.

    We believe plant diversity is an important part of supporting overall wellbeing and gut health.

  • We believe healthy eating should feel balanced, enjoyable and realistic for everyday life.

    Rather than focusing on restriction or calorie counting we design meals around a combination of:

    • Vegetables and plant diversity
    • Fibre-rich ingredients
    • Protein
    • Whole foods and minimal processed ingredients
    • Great taste and enjoyment

    Our goal is to create real food that helps people feel good after eating it - more energised, more satisfied and better nourished.

HEALTH + NUTRITION

  • We source ingredients from a range of trusted suppliers across the UK and globally, depending on where ingredients are naturally grown best, seasonality, availability and quality.

    Our approach to sourcing is guided by a few key principles:

    • Great taste and quality

    • Nutritional value

    • Ingredient integrity

    • Food safety and traceability

    • Trusted supplier relationships

  • We minimise preservatives and artificial additives wherever possible while ensuring our products remain safe, fresh and delicious to eat.

    You typically won’t find additives or preservatives in our meals unless they are used as part of an ingredient e.g. the mustard we use contains an acidity regulator.

  • We think it’s important to look at sugar in context rather than treating all sugar as the same.

    Many whole food ingredients naturally contain sugar - things like fruit, vegetables and dairy - but these also come packaged with fibre, nutrients and other components that change how the body processes them.

    Added sugar is different, particularly when used heavily in highly processed foods with little nutritional value around it.

    Our meals contain sugar, but this is mostly from naturally occurring sugar and we avoid added sugar as much as possible. We will sometimes add a little sugar when pickling an ingredient or to balance taste in a dressing just like you would a home, but this is always in minimal quantities and we will opt to use maple syrup or similar over white sugar.

  • We know palm oil can be a concern, and it’s something we’ve looked into carefully.

    Currently, palm oil is an unavoidable ingredient in most commercially produced wrap breads used across the food industry, including within our wraps. It plays an important role in achieving the softness, flexibility and shelf-life needed for chilled food-to-go products.

    Where palm oil is used within our products, we aim to ensure it is responsibly sourced and used only where necessary. The palm oil we use is Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO), which is currently the highest grade of responsibly sourced palm oil available. The supply chain is fully segregated from conventional palm oil throughout production and refining, helping ensure greater traceability and environmental standards.

    We continue to review ingredients and suppliers across our range and are always looking for opportunities to improve formulations as better alternatives become available.

  • We believe healthy food should start with real ingredients.

    That means building flavour, texture and nutrition through vegetables, grains, herbs, spices, legumes and properly made dressings and sauces - not relying on unnecessary additives or overly processed shortcuts.

    We avoid added sugar, excessive salt and ultra-processed ingredients as much as possible

    In practice, that means you typically won’t find:

    • Artificial sweeteners

    • Artificial colours

    • ‘Natural flavouring’

    • Processed fillers

    • Additives or preservatives

    Instead, we focus on meals that are naturally nutrient-rich, fibre-filled and built around whole food ingredients.

  • All the chicken used across our meals is reared in line with EU legislation.

    We work with trusted suppliers who are independently audited to ensure welfare, quality and food safety standards are maintained. We partner with suppliers we know and trust, and who align with the standards and expectations we have across our business.

INGREDIENTS + SOURCING

OUR MEALS + PACKAGING

  • Our salad and ready meal bowls are made from kraft with lids made from a combination of PET and recycled rPET plastic. Our cardboard sleeves are FSC certified.

    • Dressing sachet - not yet recyclable

  • Please follow these instructions to heat our ready meals:

    Microwave - 4min - 800W

    Remove sleeve and plastic lid. Re-cover the product with cling film and pierce in several places. Place on a microwaveable plate. Heat on full power for 2 minutes. Peel back film, stir well and re-cover. Heat on full power for a further 2 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled.

  • We do not recommend freezing any of our meals as they have been designed to enjoy fresh and freezing would impact the taste and enjoyment of the ingredient used.
